Suspensions & Revocations
Individuals whose membership in CMA Ontario has been suspended or revoked are not members in good standing and:
- may not take or use the designation “Certified Management Accountant”, or the initials “CMA”, alone or in combination with other words or abbreviations;
- may not take or use any term, title, initials, designation or description implying that they are a Certified Management Accountant;
- may not practise as Certified Management Accountants; and
- may not otherwise hold themselves out as Certified Management Accountants.
In order to resume membership following suspension, all fees and dues in arrears must be paid and any failure to provide required filings or information must be remedied. Please note that this includes reporting of Continuous Professional Learning and Development.
Re-admission to Membership
A past member who resigned or whose membership was revoked, other than pursuant to an order of a committee, may apply to the Registrar to be re-admitted to membership.
